People

Not just to be good, But to be the best

There is probably no other industry that depends on the workmanship of people more than apparel. As our most important asset, we aim to provide a quality workplace, respectful to the unique personalities of our employees.

We invest in our employees

With focus on both physical and mental well-being

Good working conditions refer to our investments in a safe and comfortable working environment focusing on both physical and mental well-being. Our factories are fully air-conditioned – with the use of Zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) refrigerants.

We continuously monitor the performance of the ventilation system to ensure our employees have fresh air and clear minds.

Equal opportunities

We have a strict non-discrimination policy and monitor equal representation in hiring, training and career advancement

Through ‘Danish eyes’

Global standards across locations

We believe in taking responsibility for the local society. We believe that employees spending a large part of their life working for the company is to be treated with respect and dignity. Therefore, providing proper working conditions is a natural focus area for us.

Our starting point is to organize the business through “Danish eyes” regarding the external environment and working environment. Our standards will be set as close to Danish standards as realistically possible. We believe that when our employees care for their job, they are motivated to perform their best. This is beneficial for the employee, for the company, and our customers.

One day for our local community

A tangible goal

As a garment manufacturer characterized by labor-intensive production processes, we employ many local people and thereby play an essential role in the social economy of the local community. Spectre will donate 1 working day per year for all group employees for community work.

This is our way of paying back to the community that offers land, housing, infrastructure, and education to us and our employees.

“One day for our local community” will be planned and coordinated with local governments, organizations, or sports clubs.

Examples of activities and benefits of Spectre:

  • With focus on physical working environment we offer onsite medical staff, modern machinery, and equipment in the factories, good lighting, air-conditioned working space, proper chairs for an ergonomically correct working position, height adjustable office desks and machinery, clean drinking water, proper lunch etc.

  • We carry out several training courses on different levels of the operation such as language, vocational training, technological knowledge and understanding, administrative duties and commercial understanding. Providing skills to employees will give them a greater chance to keep the job, make a career and to earn an attractive salary.
  • Bi-annual health examinations are an obligatory part of employment in our production units. (in Vietnam)

  • Several social events are organized yearly at offices and production sites to connect employees and create unities that extend beyond the working relationships and create that special “Spectre spirit”.

  • We provide individual aid to employees with particular needs (including children’s needs).

Businesses play an equally important role to ensure sustainable development. We signed the UN Global Compact in 2010 as a commitment to observe the ten basic principles of the Global Compact and do our part to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals. We annually report how we have faired on our commitments on Global Compact website.
